• NURSE PRACTITIONERS

  Potential clients must complete the following forms in advance of an appointment and mail to the clinic: (fees delineated here)

  • Initial new client appointments will be made as soon as the above forms are received by the clinic.
    • Please arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time to fill out HIPAA and Demographic forms.

• NUTRITION

  Clients of the nurse practitioners will receive nutrition-related consulting. Current client diets will be reviewed. Nutrient supplementation will be addressed. Testing for nutrient imbalances, food sensitivities, and metabolites of digestion can be arranged.

• BIOACOUSTICS™

  Potential clients must complete the following forms in advance of appointment and mail to the clinic:

• THERMOGRAPHY OF IOWA
  • Brochure
  • Simply call "Thermography of Iowa" at 727-4141 to schedule a thermography appointment and/or consult with nurse practitioners Carolyn Walker or Tonia Ackerman.
    • Carolyn and Tonia accept new clients for hormone consults. See Services area of website for more detail on the breadth of their experience.
  • Call Central Iowa Compounding at 252-7688 to schedule a consult with pharmacist Sue Horton.
    • Sue works with your current health practitioner in making recommendations regarding hormone and nutrient balancing.
  • Save money on initial thermogram! A $245 value for $150! Applies only when bundled with a hormone consult with Sue Horton, Carolyn Walker or Tonia Ackerman. You will be able to compare your baseline breast thermogram to a followup thermogram to monitor effects of healing breast tissue interventions. This will assess breast tissue improvement after hormone and nutrient balancing. If interested, your thermogram results can be included in a study on the effects of early preventive interventions in breast tissue health.
  • Complete the Breast Health
    History Form prior to your appointment
  • Arrive 15 minutes in advance to fill out the HIPAA form.
  • The process should take no longer than 30 minutes total.
  • Results will be mailed to you in about 10-14 days once the images have been reviewed.

Prevention & Healing of Iowa is a multidisciplinary, integrative holistic clinic. We offer a variety of services. We also try to meet monthly and discuss our most complex client cases to collaborate as to how to best serve their healthcare needs.
